Dr. Rapp has held academic appointments at Biola University, Vanguard University and the University of Southern California and taught in the areas of the psychology of religious experience, the
theory and practice of Christian counseling, and the diagnosis and treatment of PTSD and other traumatic stress reactions. He has also provided
clinical training, supervision, and consultation to lay church counselors, master's level therapists, doctoral
candidates, and psychologists. In addition, he has provided expert testimony for the Palm Beach County Judicial System.
Dr. Rapp is on staff at the West Palm Beach Veterans Medical Center, where he provides treatment for veterans suffering with PTSD and addiction and provides training and supervision for psychotherapists learning evidence-based treatments for the effects of trauma.
Dr. Rapp currently maintains a private practice in Jupiter, Florida where he
specializes in individual and couples therapy for emotional, behavioral, and
